GateAway

Cookie policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

GateAway uses only technical, strictly necessary cookies to run the service: no profiling or marketing cookies. To measure traffic we collect aggregate statistics, without cookies and without profiling (see point 5).

1. Technical cookies (necessary)

We use session cookies for authentication (provided by Supabase): they keep you signed in to your account area and protect access. They are essential and, by law, do not require your consent.

2. Local storage (localStorage)

For some features we use the browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is not a tracking tool: the links saved by the traveler, and some interface preferences (e.g. the cookie notice already read, or the hidden checklist).

3. Third-party cookies

Lemon Squeezy (the payment platform, Merchant of Record) may use technical cookies on its own checkout pages when you start a subscription, under its own policy.

On free-plan itineraries and in the public showcase, affiliate links to third-party services may appear (e.g. GetYourGuide): they are plain links and do not set cookies on the GateAway site. If you follow them, it is the third-party provider’s site that sets any of its own cookies, under its own policy.

4. How to manage cookies

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking technical cookies may, however, prevent access to your account area.

5. Traffic statistics (without cookies)

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure page visits and performance in aggregate. They are cookieless: they set no cookies or identifiers on your device and do not profile you. They process only technical navigation data (page visited, referrer, device type) as our legitimate interest in keeping and improving the site. If in future we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this page and ask for your prior consent through a dedicated banner before activating them.
