About
Who’s behind GateAway
GateAway wasn’t born in a room full of programmers. It was born from the work of someone who really organizes trips, every day, for real people. My name is Adelchi Brignoli, I’ve created and organized travel itineraries since 2015, and GateAway is the tool I wish I’d had from day one.
The problem I lived
For years I prepared itineraries the way almost everyone does: a Word document or a PDF, laid out by hand, client by client. Hours of work for a file that ages instantly. Change a time and you have to redo it from scratch. The client loses it in their inbox right when they’re travelling and would need it. And in the end an anonymous PDF doesn’t tell the value of the work behind it.
Why I created GateAway
I wanted something different: an itinerary that lives inside a link, opens on the phone without downloading any app, updates when needed and carries the name of whoever created it. One place for maps, weather, documents and tips, ordered day by day. That’s how GateAway was born. If you want to see it from the side of whoever receives the link, open a sample itinerary.
How I think about it
You can tell a project by how it treats the people who use it. Here are the four principles I build GateAway on:
- Honest about limits. GateAway is a young project and I build it step by step. I’d rather tell you clearly what it does today and what it doesn’t do yet than promise the moon.
- Your data in Europe. Everything runs on European servers, in compliance with GDPR. Travelers’ data is handled with care, never resold.
- A fair price. A professional tool shouldn’t cost like enterprise software. You start free, and the full plan costs less than a coffee a week.
- Your work stays yours. Your itineraries are yours. No lock-in: you carry your brand and your contacts, and you stop whenever you want.
Who it’s for
GateAway speaks to two worlds that often look more alike than you’d think:
Travel professionals
Agencies, advisors and tour operators who want to deliver an itinerary worthy of their name, with their own logo, without wasting hours laying out PDFs.
Passionate travelers
People who plan the trip themselves and want everything tidy and in their pocket: days, stops, maps, documents and weather, ready on the phone during the trip.
If you run an agency or work as an advisor, here’s the page made for you.
The project today
GateAway is online and grows continuously, driven by the people who use it: every report counts and goes straight onto the list of things to improve. It’s an independent project, there’s no big company behind it, and to me that’s a strength: I answer, I decide fast and I truly listen. If you have an idea, a problem or just a question, write to me.
